The straight version

Do I need to be technical to set this up?

No. If you can paste a line of code into your site once (or ask whoever manages it to), you are done. Everything else, you write in plain English in your dashboard.

If your site runs on WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, or plain HTML, it works.

Where does the bot get its answers?

From you. You describe your business and paste in whatever you want it to know: hours, pricing, policies, services, anything.

It answers from that, and it stays quiet on things you did not tell it rather than making them up.

What happens when it does not know something?

You decide. You write a fallback instruction, and the bot follows it: share your phone number, your email, or your booking link so the visitor always has a next step.

Will it slow down my site?

No. The widget loads after your page and only does real work once a visitor opens it. It is also sealed off from your site's styles, so it cannot break your layout.
